Replacement Stretcher and Operating Room Mattresses

All replacement mattresses are designed to meet the heavy-duty requirements necessary for institutional use. The foam core is a high density polyurethane foam that adheres to California technical bulletin #117 for fire retandancy. A
selection of foams and materials are available to meet more stringent fire standards such as California technical bulletin #121, 129, 603 and 1X-11 Boston fire code. Your choice of square, rounded or cut corners are available.

The mattresses are manufactured in a variety of cover
fabrics: the conductive material is a UL registered fabric approved by the underwriters laboratories. The non-conductive is a durable bonded vinyl leatherette. Waterfall flaps cover zippers for added protection against infiltration of fluids. Both materials are anti-microbial, non-allergenic and adhere to California technical bulletin #117 for fire retardancy.

We offer pressure redistribution mattresses in all styles with
and without gel.

Optional features include: velcro or fabric hinges, IV or GU
cut-outs, velcro strips and velcro retaining straps

We manufacture all mattresses to fit the following; Shampaine®, Midmark®,Stryker®, Hill Rom®,
Amsco®, Haustead®, Skytron® and more!

Gel-Pro® Viscotec® and Gel Replacement Stretcher and Operating Room Mattresses

All replacement mattresses are designed to meet the heavy-duty requirements necessary for institutional use. The tri-zone core is a combination of a pressure redistribution Viscotec® Visco Elastic Foam top layer covering a viscous gel bladder and a supportive high density polyurethane foam base. The Gel-Pro Replacment Stretcher adheres to California technical bulletin #117 for fire retandancy. A selection of foams and materials are available to meet more stringent fire standards such as California technical bulletin #121, 129, 603 and 1X-11 Boston fire code. Your choice of square, rounded or cut corners are available.

Equipment and Cart Covers

We manufacture covers for all departments within a facility: emergency room, linen, operating room, crash carts. All covers are customized to fit your original equipment. Crown offers many different fabrics, such as heavy-duty vinyls, clear see-through vinyl, 400 denier nylon as well as heavy duty ballistic nylon. Each cover can be fabricated with velcro, zipper or lock closure. Silk screening is available with facility logo.

Relief-Care Pro®
Therapeutic Dual-Zone Foam mattress with SMT™ Technology

The Relief-Care Pro® Mattress System uses advanced Surface Modification Technology to
create a clinically effective support surface. SMT™ enables Blue Chip to produce a therapeutic dual-zone VPF® variable pressure foam support surface with varying features and properties. This engineering advancement produces a pressure-redistribution surface that provides the patient a
clinically effective mattress with low interface pressures. This design absorbs and distributes the impact-weight of the body to provide greater comfort, maximum support and to redistribute pressure around bony prominences.

The Relief-Care Pro® is covered with a Vyvex-I® top cover and a medical grade vinyl bottom cover. Vyvex-I® is a low shear, fluid proof nylon material which is anti-microbial, fire-retardant, stain resistant and washable. The Vyvex-I® cover meets California Technical Bulletin 117 for fire retardency. Mattress can be manufactured to meet California Technical Bulletin 129, 133 and 603 when specified. Cover is loose fitting and will conform to the patient.

Home-Care Elite®
Homecare & Institutional High-Density Foam Mattress

Designed for use in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and Institutions. The inner core is a high density, fire-retardant polyurethane foam that is covered with an anti-microbial, fire-retardant cover meeting California Technical Bulletin #117. The mattress is closed with a self-ventilating zipper, and can be special ordered for use in light psychiatric areas utilizing an inverted lock-stitch closure.

Floor Mats

Patient safety is a must. Floor mats protect the patient during an accidental fall from bed. The inner core is a fire-retardent high compression polyurethane foam covered with anti-microbial, fire-retardent vinyl meeting California Technical Bulletin #117. All mats are 2” and are available in non-fold, bi-fold or tri-fold design. Available in 3” or 4” height as a special order along with Velcro straps.

Side Rail Bumpers

Patients are protected from accidental injury due to banging or slipping through a bed rail. The inner core is a fire-retardent high compression polyurethane that is covered with an anti-microbial, fire-retardent vinyl cover, meeting California Technical Bulletin #117. Bumpers are sold in sets and attach to rail with Velcro closures.

Wedge Guard

The Wedge Guard doubles as a side rail gap protector in addition to being a patient positioner. Patients are safe from falls and accidental slippage through any gaps between the mattress and side rail. High density foam and medical grade vinyl cover material meet California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire-retardency and is anti-microbial. Available in full and half rail sizes

Mattress Extender

This versatile device is used to extend a mattress for the needs of a larger patient. When a sheet is placed over the mattress and extender, a unified surface is formed. The extender is covered with Chemsafe® medical grade vinyl. Cover and foam are anti-microbial and meet California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire-retardency. We can customize a unit to fit any bed size.
