For more than two decades, Blue Chip Medical therapeutic alternating pressure mattress systems provide patients maximum pressure redistribution for the prevention and treatment of Stages I-IV pressure ulcers. All alternating pressure Mattresses feature airflow in the sacral and torso areas to help minimize skin maceration by reducing excess moisture under the patient. Through Blue Chip’s innovative technology, surface pressures are diminished below capillary closing pressure. This improves blood flow to the skin, reduces pain, and accelerates healing for the treatment and prevention of tissue injury. Blue Chip Mattress systems are available to fit all standard hospital beds and in pediatric, geriatric, and bariatric configurations. Blue Chip powered mattress systems are effective and durable for institutional use and the homebound patient.
