Vortex™ Mattress System

Pressure Distribution Mattress Systems

Blue Chip Medical has developed an advanced mattress system for the treatment of pressure ulcers. The Vortex™ has been designed to create both a pressure redistribution and pressure equalizing environment while maximizing the patients comfort. Once inflated, the multi-zone construction conforms to the patients body and self-adjusts to meet their needs.

• 108 5” thermoformed air cells aligned in a matrix configuration that provides continuous force equalization

• Product comes in full replacement mattress and mattress overlay configurations and is divided into three independent sections that can be custom adjusted for each patient’s needs

• Supports patient weights up to 350 lbs.

• Heavy duty harness straps hold overlay securely to underlying mattress

• Easily dismantled and transported
