Ventilated low air loss mattress bladders include air holes in sacral and torso areas to help minimize skin maceration by reducing excess moisture under patient.  All Blue Chip low air loss mattress systems combine two advanced therapies, alternating pressure and low air loss.  Blue Chip low air loss mattress systems with alternating pressure were designed to meet the rigors of hospital, institutional and use by the home bound patient. Air mattress covers are loose fitting and will conform to the patient. Mattresses are designed to fit all standard hospital beds and are available in Bariatric widths and construction supporting up to 1000 lbs. Low air loss mattress systems meet California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire retardancy. Options Include a fire barrier to meet the most stringent fire safety requirements when requested and a patient safety side rail systems to help prevent patient falls.
