Positioning Cushions

Blue Chip’s positioning cushions provide the most advanced pressure redistribution, therapeutic support and positioning available. Our positioning cushions allow therapists to provide patients correct posture, proper spinal alignment, trunk stability and all the pressure redistribution and skin protection characteristics required for a seating application. Blue Chip manufactures anti-thrust cushions that provide the proper positioning for patients who hyper-extend by thrusting forward and “Level-R” cushions to reduce the hammock effect usually found with a wheelchair sling seat. Blue Chip positioning cushions are constructed from the highest quality materials including VPF high density foam, Viscotec heat activated memory foam and an ultra-soft viscous gel in a uniquely shaped gel bladder. Blue Chip’s positioning cushions are available for immediate shipment. Positioning cushions can be manufactured in custom sizes and bariatric widths and constructions. All cover materials meet California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire retardancy.
