Therapeutic Gel Sleep System 5 – Model 6305

Ideal for the Nursing Home and Home care Markets. The 3 section, 5.5” Gel Mattress utilizes a high density, high compression foam base designed to extend the life of the therapeutic gel medical mattress overlay and maximize its clinical benefit. The mattress is constructed using the same materials as the Gel-Pro™ Overlay but with heavy-duty institutional use in mind. The zippered cover allows for sections to be removed for easy portability and storage. Top and bottom cover materials are fluid and stain-resistant, anti-microbial, and fire-retardant. 35″ supports up to 250 lbs. Available in sizes 42” and 48” wide, full or queen sizes. Optional Gel-Flex™ channel can be added. The mattress is manufactured to meet Federal Flammability Standard 16 CFR 1633.

Gel-Flex™ Elite Therapeutic Medical Mattress

Tri-Laminate design with perfectly matched Med-Flex™ PPF™ foams throughout all layers. The top layer is constructed of Gel-Flex™ Channel, a semi-solid flexible, blue gel filling the channels between the foam “springs”. This combination provide excellent comfort while providing superior support. Dual layer exclusive pressure-redistribution Reflect™ SCT™ design. There is a high density Med-Flex™ PPF™ foam bottom layer and exclusive Heel Wrap™ PPF™ foam with Sphere™ design for maximum prevention of heel ulcers The top cover is Vyvex II™, a low shear nylon, fluid proof, stain resistant material A Barrier Lok™ infection control system helps prevent fluid intrusion. A perimeter safety border for patient safety is standard. An optional SRS side rail safety system reduces risk of patient falls and meets FDA patient entrapment guidlines. All Med-Flex™ PPF™ foams and cover materials are anti-microbial and fire retardant Gel-Flex Elite has 6 year non-prorated warranty. 35″ supports up to 350 lbs with bariatric systems made to support up to 1000 lbs.

FLAMMABILITY INFORMATION

All Prevent II Elite™ Mattress Systems meet Federal Flammability Standard 16 CFR 1633. All mattresses can be ordered with a special upgraded fire barrier protection to meet flame retardancy specifications. This includes California Technical Bulletin, #129, 603, Life Safety Code 101 and City of Boston 1X-11.
