Rapid-Air™ Alternating Pressure Mattress with Gentle Low Air Loss

The Rapid-Air™ and Rapid-Air™ Plus Alternating Pressure Mattress Systems with Gentle Low Air Loss incorporate the features that clinicians demand for their patients in a portable system. The Rapid-Air™ pressure redistribution mattress utilizes 18 independent 5.5″ deep air cells to reduce interface pressure for the prevention and treatment of Stages I-IV pressure ulcers. User friendly controls and ease of setup make these systems ideal for institutional use and the homebound patient. Bladders:
Ventilated bladders include 20 lasered air holes in sacral area to help reduce skin maceration by reducing excess moisture under patient. Ventilated bladders help in the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers. Air cells are constructed of TPU, thermal polyurethane fabrics. This combination insures strength, durability and patient comfort.The model 4300P Rapid-Air Plus™ features a PPF™ 2.5” pressure redistribution foam base that protects the patient from bottoming out during power outages. The foam is covered in a medical grade nylon which is anti-microbial and fire retardant.

Cover:
Vyvex-I™ nylon cover wicks moisture away from patients skin. The cover is low shear, anti-microbial, fluid resistant, fire retardant and washable. Cover is loose fitting and will conform to the patient. Optional: SRS Side Rail Safety System can be added to any mattress.

CPR Valve quickly deflates mattress system for medical emergencies.

Alternating Pressure Pump Model 4300 & Rapid-Air® Plus Model 4300 Pump:
Alternating mode offers the therapeutic benefit of alternating therapy and reactive hyperemia. This helps to reduce interface pressure well below 32mmHg.Control dial adjusts mattress from soft to firm for patient comfort.Normal Pressure Alert indicates that system is
operating correctly.Low Pressure Alert indicates that output needs to be increased for heavier patients or accidental disconnection of hoses.
Model 4300 & Rapid-Air® Plus Model 4300 Optional blower pump is available to quickly inflate and deflate mattress through CPR valve in under 4 minutes
