Blue Chip Medical therapeutic gel wheelchair cushions and positioning cushions provide patients maximum pressure redistribution for the prevention of skin breakdown. Blue Chip seating and positioning products are constructed from a variety of substrates known for their therapeutic qualities: foam, air, and gel.  Our Chair-air wheelchair cushions feature Alternating Pressure while the GRZ model is a combination of self-adjusting air and foam.  Blue Chip’s gel-pro series of wheelchair and positioning cushions offer a combination of foam and gel to provide unsurpassed pressure redistribution. Blue Chip’s foam wheelchair seating and positioning cushions are available in a selection of therapeutic foams including Viscotec, viscoelastic memory foam. All wheelchair seating and positioning cushions are available in a wide variety of stock sizes and in pediatric, geriatric, and bariatric configurations. Custom cushions can be built for your specific application.

A high-density foam shell surrounds a uniquely styled gel bladder to form a comfortable gel wheelchair cushion that is unsurpassed in pressure redistribution.

Viscotec™

The Viscotec heat activated memory foam cushion self-adjusts to the seating surface to maximize comfort and pressure redistribution.

Chair-Air™

Alternating air wheelchair cushion provides the patient a superior pressure redistribution seating surface while the unique molded design, with a slight abductor pommel, stabilizes the hips and keeps the patient in proper mid-line alignment.

Amara™ Wheelchair Cushions

Amara™ component based therapeutic wheelchair cushions provide the pressure redistribution qualities, flexibility, positioning and support that the most discriminating rehabilitation specialist requires.

Solid Seat & Back Inserts

Solid Seat Inserts and Solid Back Inserts are used to properly align the body as well as to eliminate the sagging effect found in standard sling seat wheelchair upholstery.

Coccyx Cushion

Coccyx wheelchair cushion features a cutout that redistributes pressure at the sacral area while offering patient comfort and even distribution of weight.

GRZ-Self Adjusting Air

The GRZ™ is dynamic self adjusting air bladder system consisting of 3 individual air cell chambers which redistribute pressure and adjust to body weight and position.
