Immersion Therapy

Advanced immersion and pressure redistribution are critical components in the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries, including Stage III, Stage IV, and unstageable wounds. By reducing concentrated pressure on high-risk areas such as the sacrum, hips, and heels, the Pro-Daptive system helps create a safer healing environment for patients with complex wounds or those at high risk of skin breakdown.

The immersion therapy mode of the Pro-Daptive™ SensorCell™ provides an alternative to Group III Air Fluidized Therapy (AFT) which is not available for home care, without the limitations associated with traditional air fluidization systems. Pro-Daptive™ SensorCell™ delivers advanced pressure injury management for home care use, supporting the prevention and treatment of complex wounds while bringing hospital-level therapy into the home setting.

Customized immersion and pressure redistribution are critical to creating an optimized healing environment for patients with complex wounds.

With Pro-Daptive™, caregivers can tailor immersion therapy to the patient’s specific needs. Rather than relying on manufacturer presets based on averages, Pro-Daptive™ SensorCell™ seeks to control and maintain the pressures more closely related to tissue interface pressure.

Once set, Pro-Daptive™ dynamically adjusts in real time to maintain the desired therapy, even as the patient moves. This helps support consistent therapy, enhanced pressure redistribution, and improved patient comfort.

Heel Float & Cavity Creation

Heel Float: provides caregivers precise surface control to fully off-load pressures for the treatment of advanced heel wounds. Each SensorCell™ acts independently, allowing caregivers to fully suspend and completely off-load the heel while providing leg support. This advanced offloading helps protect fragile tissue, reduce pressure concentration, and support pressure control not offered in any other system.

Cavity Creation: Pro-Daptive™ SensorCell™ allows caregivers to create a custom cavity for the complete off-loading of existing wound in high-risk areas such as the coccyx, sacrum, buttocks and more. Pro-Daptive™ surface can create cavities in any of 12 zones.

DO-L Dynamic Offloading Continuous Hands-Free Off-Loading Without Sleep Disruption provides the vital rest patient’s need. DO-L offers tilt, sectional waves and massage. Dynamic Offloading is perfect in a home environment for overnight care giver assist. 1-hour cycles of gentle load repositioning and repeating cycles for up to 10 hours.

Mobility Mode

Easier repositioning and transfer for patient and caregiver

Mobility Mode creates a very firm support surface at 75 mmHg, making it easier for caregivers to assist with ingress, egress, transfers, repositioning, linen changes, and CPR. It reduces the effort required for repositioning by more than 30%. After repositioning, the exceptional envelopment of the SensorCells™ helps stabilize, cradle, and support the patient comfortably in place.

Using Mobility Mode together with Comfort Mode helps reduce both the time and effort needed for patient repositioning, while eliminating the need for wedges and pillows to maintain positioning.
